San Diego Technology Luminary Tom Munro Joins Kineticom Advisory Board

Former Wireless Facilities President to Provide Strategic Direction, Extend Reach to Technology Companies and Venture Capital Groups

SAN DIEGO, Calif., September 18, 2003 - Kineticom Inc., a leading supplier of technical staffing services for technology companies and executive and technical search services for the Venture Capital community, today announced that former Wireless Facilities, Inc. President Tom Munro has joined Kineticom's advisory board. As its third member, Mr. Munro brings valued experience in the local San Diego business community as well as industry recognized expertise in corporate planning to Kineticom's growing team of advisors.

"Adding Tom Munro to our advisory board gives us one of the key strategic relationships we greatly need to extend our competitive reach into various areas of technology and connect more closely to Southern California businesses," said Simon Billsberry, chief executive officer at Kineticom. "Tom brings a tremendous reputation for pointing companies in the right direction and being a world-class business development talent, critical for Kineticom as we expand our technical and executive staffing services."

Hired in 1997 as Wireless Facilities' first Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Tom Munro successfully guided WFI through a highly publicized initial public offering in November 1999 before being promoted to President. After the shakeout for emerging telecom carriers, Mr. Munro and the WFI management team successfully repositioned the company as a market leader of outsourced technical and operations services for well-established telecom carriers. Mr. Munro retired from San Diego-based Wireless Facilities in January 2003.

Prior to joining Wireless Facilities, Mr. Munro founded and served as CFO of Precision Digital Images and MetLife Capital Corporation. Mr. Munro holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters degree in business administration, both from the University of Washington.

Mr. Munro joins Glen Estell and Bob Schellman as the third member of Kineticom's advisory board. Formed in 2001, the advisory board offers advice and expertise from its vast background in various segments in the technology industry to assist Kineticom executives with networking, business development, mentoring and strategic counsel, and sales channel development.

The Kineticom advisory board meets formally once each quarter at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines Hotel in La Jolla, California.
