Kineticom Names Robert Ayling to Board of Directors

SAN DIEGO - August 30, 2004 - Kineticom Inc., a leading supplier of human capital services for technology companies and executive and managerial search services for the Venture Capital community, today announced the appointment of Robert Ayling to the company's Board of Directors. With over 29 years of experience in working with emerging technology companies, Ayling brings a wealth of expertise to Kineticom in the areas of corporate finance, private investment, mergers & acquisitions, securities law, and strategic financing. Ayling will be working with Kineticom on securing future investments for the company and identifying potential growth opportunities through strategic partnerships.

Rob Ayling is the Managing Partner of San Diego based Finistere Partners, LLC, a technology and management business specializing in market access consulting, commercialization assistance, strategic partnering, and providing access to venture funding. Previously Rob served as a partner at the major Silicon Valley based law firm of Gray Cary. As a member of the firms technology group, Ayling's primary focus was on intellectual property law, technology transactions, venture funding, mergers and acquisitions and international business. In addition, Ayling served as a member of the investment committee at GCWF Investment Partners, a $23 million USD private venture fund from the partners at Gray Cary, specifically targeted at international businesses looking to relocate to the U.S.
