Kineticom Appoints Telecommunications Veteran Bill Goodwin as Executive Council and Advisor to the Board
SAN DIEGO - August 30 2004 - Kineticom Inc., a leading supplier of human capital services for technology companies and executive and managerial search services for the Venture Capital community, today announced the appointment of Bill Goodwin as Leadership Council to Kineticom. In this role, Mr. Goodwin will serve as a strategic advisor to the company's board of directors, and will provide consulting to Kineticom on a variety of management and operational issues. In addition, Goodwin will be working closely with Kineticom's management team to refine the company's worldwide business development strategy, while also providing sales training that will enable Kineticom to expand upon and better leverage its relationships with its existing high technology customers.

William A. Goodwin is the founder and Principal of Goodwin Consulting Services, a management and consulting practice that provides advisory services and educational courses in the areas of leadership, change management, sales training and relationship management. Goodwin's clients include leading domestic and international technology companies such as EDS and Texas Instruments. As Principal, Goodwin is the co-author of the Executive Relationship Building and Executive Relationship Training Program, a sales management and relationship building training course that has been delivered to over 5,000 participants worldwide.
Prior to founding Goodwin Consulting Services, Goodwin spent twenty-seven years in the telecommunications industry, holding various executive level positions in Western Electric, Bell Laboratories, AT&T, Ameritech, and Rockwell International. Among the highlights of his management career was a significant development role in the AT&T divestiture process that ultimately led to the creation of Ameritech and its' subsidiaries. While at Ameritech, Goodwin was instrumental in the formation and development of Ameritech's state-of-the-art corporate campus in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Goodwin is a frequent speaker at industry, trade, and economic development events, and also served as founding Chairman of the National Telework and Telecommuting Association, a Washington D.C. based Trade Association.
