MANAGEMENT TEAM
What kind of people would walk away from fat jobs in the technical staffing
industry to test a theory about how it could be done better? Who would be so
convinced it would work that they would leverage their homes, personal credit
and slash their own salaries to get through a market downturn? What kind of
business people would hope to increase profits by promising more and more to
their clients and workers?
Meet the management team of Kineticom. Contrary. Audacious. Rebellious.
And wildly successful.
Simon Billsberry
Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Simon Billsberry's authenticity, intuitive business savvy, approach to
adversity and heart have made Kineticom a winning company. As CEO, Simon's goal
is to establish Kineticom as the first iconic global brand in the talent
industry. Growing up in a British military family, Simon lived his childhood
throughout Europe, where his energy, drive and natural business instinct shaped
his identity as a risk-taker, competitor and entrepreneur. From an early age,
Simon quickly engaged people with his bold, tell-it-like-it-is style. True to
his atypical trajectory and commitment to pursuing things he's passionate
about, Simon received a degree in environmental science.
Coming out of University, Simon landed in the people business and was
fast-tracked through the ranks at S-Com, a global telecom staffing firm. After
growing its European client base to capture dramatic market share, he was
assigned a turn-around effort for a struggling subsidiary in the United States.
US operations were quickly recovered as he led its sales and marketing
operations from start-up to revenues over $20 million.
Simon then decided that his biggest career risk would be to stay under the
radar and lose his spirit by becoming entrenched in the comfortable politics
& corporate bureaucracy of the torpid staffing industry. Simon and his
co-founders broke off to shake up the talent industry. With a true
understanding of the energy created by mutual trust, Simon and his leadership
team have built a culture where employees and clients derive value from
partnership. An extreme leader in all respects, Simon's passion and intensity
extend to his appreciation for living life. Sports like surfing, wakeboarding
and snowboarding rejuvenate him, and when he's not helping companies win the
war for talent, he can be found anywhere sun, fun and natural beauty converge.
Mick Barber
Chief Financial Officer
Michael "Mick" Barber provides superior financial leadership as Kineticom's
Chief Financial Officer. Tasked with quantifying Kineticom's financial success
and ensuring its financial integrity, Mick's efforts today will enable
Kineticom's strategic growth into a $500 million corporation. Since 2004, when
he joined the dynamic team of executives, Mick has sought to continuously
improve processes for the rapidly growing firm. Mick's prior experience
includes serving as Director of Corporate Finance, focused on mergers,
acquisitions, divestitures, and pricing with the Trizetto Group, Inc.
(NASDAQ:TZIX); Corporate Controller for Endocare Inc. (OTC:ENDO) where he was a
key team member during their public offering and acquisition of Timm Medical;
and Head of Analysis for the Capital Markets Group at Barclays Global Investors
(NYSE: BCS). Mick holds a bachelor's degree in economics from San Diego State
University, and an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco. An avid and
former professional surfer, Mick is at his best when he is managing multiple
variables in a barrel or a boardroom.
Steve Moreschi
Senior Vice President, Business Development
Steve Moreschi provides visionary sales leadership as Kineticom's Senior Vice
President of Business Development. Tasked with growing Kineticom's current
marketshare and introduction to new markets, Steve is a key team member as
Kineticom embarks on its strategic growth plan. Since joining Kineticom, Steve
has provided key counsel and leadership to the existing sales team and will
focus his early efforts on a worldwide sales tour, further strengthening
Kineticom's global reach. Steve's prior experience includes over fifteen years
in the recruiting/talent industry in Asia Pacific, Europe, and the United
States. He was the ninth employee at Glotel (LSE: GLO.L) where he launched the
U.K. company's U.S. operations. During his tenure, Steve oversaw the growth and
success of offices in Atlanta, San Jose, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, where
the company serviced Fortune 500 accounts, most of which Steve personally
signed. Steve holds a law degree from the University of Hull. When his passion
for the law waned, time with his kids, supporting Plymouth Argyle soccer, and
poker tournaments fill the void and most of his free time.
Carrie Pagliarini
Senior Vice President, Operations
As Kineticom's Senior Vice President, Operations, Caroline "Carrie" Pagliarini
is charged with building the operational framework from which Kineticom will
continue to achieve the success enjoyed in its formative years. Carrie's
mission is to constantly move the business forward by developing and evolving
an organization that connects people at every level to the heart and soul of
Kineticom. With her passion for people, service and excellence, she provides a
vocal and tough sensibility at the senior management level.
After graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of
Notre Dame, Carrie joined the leadership development program at Ford Motor
Company (NYSE: F). Carrie showed her characteristic disregard for norms by
crafting her own path through the multi-faceted business of Ford, working in
finance, quality, customer service, sales, and marketing. At the Townsend
Agency in San Diego, Carrie worked with CEOs to distill complex business models
into compelling corporate identities and to develop brand-building strategies
for clients in the business-to-business, service and technology sectors. While
with Townsend, Carrie first met the Kineticom team, intuitively connected with
their unique model and mission, and realized that she had to join the cause.
When not building high performance teams at work, Carrie's attention is drawn
to the competitive arenas of college football and the NBA. A dedicated and
devoted fan of the Fighting Irish and the Detroit Pistons, Carrie derives as
much fascination with team dynamics off the field or court as she does on them.
