Paul Roebuck

Co-founder

As a Kineticom co-founder and executive mentor, Paul served as the company's founding chairman between 2000 and 2004. A serial entrepreneur and active investor, Paul has over 30 years of experience in the technology and staffing industries. His love for trading began as a young teenager when he would buy, repair and sell bicycles sourced from police auctions. Naturally technically inclined, Paul completed a university degree in computer systems engineering. He worked in the technical arena as both a permanent and contract employee and, over the years, had brief stints as both a mathematics teacher and London taxi driver, before his true passion for entrepreneurism became his full-time work.

His investment ventures include projects in the wine and restaurant industries, as well as several businesses related to technology and talent. In 1979, he founded S.com, where he served as managing director and grew the company to become a leading global telecom staffing company. In the same year, he co founded Sypol, the largest European health and safety consultancy. Paul was an early-stage investor in and former deputy chairman of PPS, a U.K. public-sector services organization.

In addition to serving on Kineticom's Board, Paul is currently growing an international real estate business, with locations in Spain, the U.S. and the U.K. Paul keeps fit with an active lifestyle. He has two children and is enjoying encouraging his eldest son, now at the University of Mississippi, to pursue a path as a professional golfer. An avid traveler, Paul splits his time between London, San Diego and Marbella.

Simon Billsberry

Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Simon Billsberry's authenticity, intuitive business savvy, approach to adversity and heart have made Kineticom a winning company. As CEO, Simon's goal is to establish Kineticom as the first iconic global brand in the talent industry. Growing up in a British military family, Simon lived his childhood throughout Europe, where his energy, drive and natural business instinct shaped his identity as a risk-taker, competitor and entrepreneur. From an early age, Simon quickly engaged people with his bold, tell-it-like-it-is style. True to his atypical trajectory and commitment to pursuing things he's passionate about, Simon received a degree in environmental science.

Coming out of University, Simon landed in the people business and was fast-tracked through the ranks at S-Com, a global telecom staffing firm. After growing its European client base to capture dramatic market share, he was assigned a turn-around effort for a struggling subsidiary in the United States. US operations were quickly recovered as he led its sales and marketing operations from start-up to revenues over $20 million.

Simon then decided that his biggest career risk would be to stay under the radar and lose his spirit by becoming entrenched in the comfortable politics & corporate bureaucracy of the torpid staffing industry. Simon and his co-founders broke off to shake up the talent industry. With a true understanding of the energy created by mutual trust, Simon and his leadership team have built a culture where employees and clients derive value from partnership. An extreme leader in all respects, Simon's passion and intensity extend to his appreciation for living life. Sports like surfing, wakeboarding and snowboarding rejuvenate him, and when he's not helping companies win the war for talent, he can be found anywhere sun, fun and natural beauty converge.

Steve Orr

He does this on a daily basis as he fulfills his dual role to establish Kineticom as the home for the best technical talent in the world and to ensure Kineticom delivers solutions of the highest value to clients' flexible workforces. With over a decade of global staffing industry experience, Steve delivers sage, strategic leadership to the executive team and board. A native of Northern Ireland, Steve holds a bachelor's degree in business information technology. Steve's and his co-founders' shared distaste for bureaucratic corporate culture is the driving force behind Kineticom's fresh, genuine, and audacious corporate personality. It's Steve's personal distaste for golf that has driven him to take up a board and try surfing in his spare time.
