From time to time, we may be required to provide personal information in response to court order, subpoena, a client audit or government investigation. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful. We may release personally information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to enforce or apply our Limited Warranty or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves.

Security and Storage of Personnel Records

All paper-based documents relating to Kineticom's personnel records are kept in secure, locked files. These files are accessible only to authorized individuals that have a valid, demonstrable need for specific information from an employee's personnel record. If an individual with an authorized need to know requires copies of the information in an employee's personnel file, the HR Manager will make a determination as to whether or not the request is appropriate, and if copies will be provided. All such copies should be considered confidential and either destroyed or returned to the HR department at the conclusion of the intended use. Medical information relating to an employee is kept in separate Medical Record files. Access to these medical files is restricted by the HR department and Contractor Care Department. In most cases, medical information about an employee is released only to the worker's designated physician in accordance with the worker's written specific request. Information retained in the Personnel file will be retained in accordance with state and federal guidelines and destroyed appropriately at the conclusion of the retention period. Questions or issues about the application or enforcement of these security measures should be addressed to the HR Manager.
